End of Summer Update

Summer may be winding down for another year, but as fall approaches, activity is ramping up in Long Lake Village. With the completion of construction on Quinpool Road, the short commute from Long Lake Village to Downtown Halifax has returned to normal. The lake is as beautiful as ever and the water will remain swimmable well into September. Also, there are new developments taking place on four different streets in Long Lake Village! So, this time around, let’s take a quick look at new homes in the neighborhood, and break down the progress street by street! Hadley Crescent was the first street to come to life in the community, and it will be the first street to be completely finished! Kiel Developments is hard at work on a final row of townhouses at the base of the street, and Ali Family Construction is currently building the final single-family homes to be constructed on the Crescent. Once work on these homes is complete, the street will be 100% finished! The upper section of Cowie Hill Road is currently undergoing a large-scale transformation thanks to Bosphorus Home Construction and their all new townhouse designs. One block of homes is fully finished, and another is well on the way! Homes on Grenoble court are a hot commodity these days! Mayabella Homes and Ramar Homes have finished several semi-detached models, most of which have already sold. But if you missed out, don’t worry, there are already several more on the way. Many of these homes will be built on some of the most beautiful lots in the development. Several lots on Grenoble will have views of the ocean in the distance, and others back onto a large forested conservation area that will never be disturbed.

Darjeeling Drive is home to the most action in the entire neighborhood! FH Development just finished a brand new block of townhouses, as has MacKay Home Construction. Mayabella Homes is currently sold out of finished single family home models on this street. But don’t worry, they already have several more “Avanti” models on the way. Ramar Homes has a new show home at 6 Darjeeling Drive. It can be viewed at weekend open houses or by appointment at any time!

In summary, this summer has been one of the busiest in terms of progress in Long Lake Village! With single family, semi detached and townhouse homes all available right now, there truly is something for everybody in the neighborhood.
